Dr Wajiha Basir – Practice Principal

Dr Basir graduated from Manchester Dental School in 2007 and has since continued to develop her skills and expertise through various post-graduate qualifications and courses. She aspires to provide a professional, high-quality service in a relaxed and approachable environment.

Wajiha is a proud member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England and Edinburgh as well as the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Over the years, she has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in multiple areas of dentistry, particularly advanced restorative care and cosmetic dentistry. She completed her postgraduate training in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry from The University of Chester and trained in dental implantology at the ICE Hospital Manchester.

Being passionate about teaching, she has been an educational supervisor to newly qualified dentists as well as a clinical mentor at the ICE Hospital.

She is a big advocate of supporting social and charitable projects that promote mental and physical wellbeing.

When not at work, Wajiha loves being creative and enjoys painting, playing the piano and photography.

Rosemary Jones
Rosemary JonesOrthodontist

Rosemary is an orthodontist with over 25 years experience; She is on the General Dental Council’s register of Specialist Orthodontists. Rosemary enjoys treating both children and adults. Her philosophy is to treat patients in a manner in which she would wish to be treated, using the most up to date materials and to the highest standard. She qualified as a dentist in Liverpool in 1980 and then worked in Birmingham for 3 years where she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Further experience was gained working in the Children’s Department at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London before moving to Cheshire. Rosemary undertook her orthodontic training in Manchester where she obtained her Diploma in Orthodontics and MSc.

Rosemary is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, the Northern Damon Study Group and the British Dental Association.

Kathryn Jones
Kathryn JonesDental Therapist and Hygienist

Kathryn qualified from Liverpool University in 2007 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene Therapy, gaining a Distinction and the University award for Clinical Excellence. Kathryn joined Trinity House in April 2010 and has a caring approach to her patients, delivering tailor made oral hygiene instructions. She loves the outdoors and when not cycling with her husband Mark, she is walking George their Chocolate Labrador.

Emma Taylor
Emma TaylorDental Nurse

Emma qualified as a dental nurse at Manchester Dental Hospital in 2012 and joined us in August 2013. Since working at Trinity House, Emma has continued her professional development by completing her radiography qualification. She enjoys all aspects of working here from general dentistry to orthodontics.
