Your first visit…
A thorough assessment of your mouth will be undertaken and will include an inspection of your teeth, their supporting tissues and any previous dental work.
Intra oral photographs of your mouth may be taken along with digital x-rays to help identify
any specific areas of concern.
Most importantly your hopes and expectations will be discussed so that together we can devise a suitable treatment plan.

I highly recommend Trinity house dental care. I’ve always had a really good experience with Dr.Wajiha and hygienist Kathryn, they are amazing and very professional. They are great with children as well, all the personal are always very nice.
This by far is the best dentist practise. I have nothing but fear since a young child going to the dentist due to an injury at a young age. I have suffered for years as I have nothing but anxiety going to any dentist and still do have that anxiety. But going to see waj and her team has made me feel very comfortable and aloud me to conquer my fear and sit in that dentist chair and finally attempt to sort my teeth out. After having really bad experiences with other dentist I neglected my dentistry for years as I was totally petrified . I had a severe wisdom tooth problem and I found wajiha at a other dentist she was so good so nice and patient with me (I know I'm hard work ) she got me out of pain really quickly . Now I'm not afraid anymore if your reading this and looking for a dentist please don't hesitate to book at Trinity . Just wanted to say how good the team at trinity house really are , that this is my first time at a private dentist and I am very happy to say worth every pennyMiranda the dentist was brilliant right from the start her explanation care and attention to detail and work was exceptional.Having never been to a hygienist Catherine certainly had her work cut out -she is the most dedicated knowledgeable lady and explained everything simply and even guided me to get the right brush and brushing techniques she was incredible throughout and the massive reason why myOral health is now amazing -every one was so nice and helpful I actually lookForward to going back.Thank you all
We have been using Trinity House as our dentist for the past 10 years. They are a fabulous team Kathryn as hygienist is brilliant she’s gentle and friendly and always puts us at ease, Dr Wajiha Basir the Practice Principal and our dentist is fabulous extremely professional and again puts us at ease and dare I say it it’s almost a pleasure to go! It’s a private practice so not NHS but we visit every 6 months and they look after us so well we VERY rarely need additional treatments. I know we are in safe hands. There’s parking and always a friendly face on our arrival. If you need a dentist I thoroughly recommend this one. Thank you Team Trinity !

What a brilliant experience with an Amazing super professional team!!I had some sensitivity in my molar tooth however ignored it for a while as I’m kind of a person who has always been scared of going to a dentist. I must say the Trinity House dental team and especially my super lovely dentist Wajiha has changed my mind completely!! I am extremely grateful for the exceptional treatment I received. I got my cavity treated just on time. I was shocked to see the photos of my tooth, how deep the decay was!! Hats off to Dr. Wajiha Basir and her super professional team that they didn’t give up. Doctor Wajiha extracted a broken tooth today. She was not only very caring and extremely patient and gentle but I hardly felt anything and it was a tricky extraction. Would highly recommend.
My family has been attending Trinity House for over 7 years and the standard of care is exceptional with the whole team working together to ensure we are well cared for and our dental needs have always been met promptly and efficiently, I cannot praise the new practice principal highly enough, she has an incredible talent for cosmetic dentistry and the in-house hygienist has always ensured we keep on-top of our cleaning routines.
Absolutely AMAZING at every level... What a wonderful team of professionals in a lovely clean welcoming environment.... I first met Wajiha to discuss what I wanted to do to improve the overall look and health of my teeth. I was very impressed by the honest information, knowledge and advice I was given. I knew I was in the right hands from my first visit.I have since visited Wajiha to change some old silver fillings to lovely white ones that can't be seen which am super impressed with. I then chose to have a tooth removed, so I can have some orthodontics work done here in the very near future, I was so well looked after and cared for. I also now regularly visit the wonderful Kathryn for my hygienist appointments who keeps my teeth sparkly clean.Every visit I've been greeted by Jenny and had Leah the dental nurse in each of my appointments. Both ladies just add a very warm personal feeling to every visit.I used to be a person who would worry about visiting a dentist and worry about asking questions and then I paid my first visit to this wonderful team who are a credit to the place. Dr Wajiha Basir did an amazing job on my teeth - I always hated the way my teeth looked in pictures and I asked Wajiha what she would recommend for a ‘quick fix’ for my wedding in a few months and she arranged a smile consultation for me. Wajiha spoke to me about composite bonding and all different options and we decided the best decision for me was to go ahead with the composite bonding. I’m so glad I listened and took Wajiha’s advice - best decision I’ve ever made - I’m so happy with the new look and felt much more confident for pictures on my wedding day! Thank you so much Wajiha - I would recommend her to anyone as she’s amazing at what she does - the whole team make you feel so comfortable and we always have such a good laugh at every appointment - Trinity House is the place to go!
I came across Trinity House Dental Care from an offer on Instagram for composite bonding. The practice is amazing, really friendly and helpful and put you at ease.I’d been to other dentists in the past who had given me a real fear of the dentist, and also done work on my teeth which made it difficult to floss around so my gums weren’t in the best health when I first came.Wajiha and Kathryn were both so lovely with me and took away the dentist fear.I’ve now had my composite bonding done (love my new teeth!) and am going back here for regular check ups and hygiene appointments instead of another dentist.Thank you so much!
I've been seeing Wajiha on a regular basis now for about 3 years as she fitted my composite bonds for me and I have been attending for regular cleaning and maintenance. Wajiha is the ray of sunshine you need in your life!! From first consultation, through to my 4 hour (!!) fitting appointment, to me regular 6 month maintenance and clean treatment, I genuinely look forward to seeing her. Not only is she super professional and in my opinion the best at what she does, she has such an infectious smile and personality that means you'll always leave her clinic in a great mood! This also goes for all the staff who work there, they really make Trinity House a very inviting and relaxed place.
Trinity house dental care has got the best dentist I have been to inspite of my fears of dentist. Dr Wajiha is such a warm person and a fabulous dentist. Kathryn , the hygienist is awesome to say the least. The atmosphere and the clinic is spotless and very chic! Highly, highly recommend it!

I've just had my appointment here and have to say that all the staff are so caring and friendly that you feel at ease immediately. My composite bonding is kept in tip top condition here and I wouldn't think of having it done anywhere else. I highly recommend this place.
Trinity House Dental Care is such a lovely dental practice, and everyone is so welcoming. Dr Wajiha Basir has been looking after my teeth for the past 4 years, and I couldn't be happier! She has massively improved my smile, and I couldn't be more grateful as she really made my dream teeth come true! I had a composite bonding done over 18 months ago, and I still get regularly complimented about my smile. Dr Basir puts her heart and soul into everything she does and all her work is done to perfection!

Fantastic Dental practice. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Lovely space. I really trust my dentist after my previous one told me I needed ££££ of work which turned out not to be necessary at all! She puts me totally at ease and is gentle and caring. The crown she had to do was painless and perfect. Highly recommend

I have recently had my first visit to Trinity house dental. Dr Basir did my outstanding and truly life enhancing bonding at a previous practice and as she is a master at that craft I went to trinity house to continue that treatment with her as I don’t want anyone else to do it .The practice is beautifully presented in a tasteful manner ,it has a warm and friendly ( much like Dr Basir)atmosphere not so clinical which is very relaxing.I would highly recommend both Dr Basir and Trinity house dental.
Have been attending the surgery since Steve McDonnell moved from Macclesfield many years ago. The change of practice principal from Dr McDonnell to Wajiha Basir has made no difference to the excellent quality of service provided. It’s always professional, and in a comfortable environment. Particularly helpful for anyone (like me!) who’s a nervous patient. I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else.

As a person so nervous going to the dentist i didnt feel this one bit when i had my first appointment with Wajiha. A fantastic dental practice. I have been visiting the dentists and hygienists there for nearly 20 years. I moved to France 3 years ago and as soon as I book by flight back, the very next thing I do is get an appointment booked in. The hygienist Kathryn is brilliant and I’m positive that my visits with her are the reason why I have very little work done by the dentist. In fact it’s now years since I have anything done other than check ups and the odd x-ray to make sure everything is good. Kathryn is worth every penny. ????
I have had the pleasure to be treated and looked after by Dr Basir previously through the NHS. After losing contact I was fortunate enough to find she had set up in a very kitsch peppery in Wilmslow.I had a dental emergency and needed my smile back within two weeks as I had events and upcoming filming. The team, as it really is a team effort from start to finish looked after me and did all that was possible to enable my smile was given right on time. I cried on the reveal lol but it was happy tears. Dentistry isn’t just about check ups and fillings. it’s about feeling safe in their hands and truly feeling a duty of care. I couldn’t speak any more highly of Dr Basir and the team!!!Going private isn’t an option for all, I understand that but the difference in results is worth the investment in yourself. Self love and care comes in many different packages 🙂

Absolutely love the service here! Everyone is always really friendly and professional, and the care is top rate. We started attending when we lived in Wilmslow a few years ago, and even though we’ve moved a half-hour away we still make the trip just so we can stay with Trinity House Dental Care.They’re also extremely patient with children. We’ve been bringing our toddler to appointments since he was a newborn, and they’re excellent about giving advice or having a quick peek to make sure all looks well. 10/10, recommended for the whole family!

As someone who is petrified of going to the dentist and put it off for a number of years, I can’t recommend the team at Trinity enough. Dr Basir is a miracle worker. I never really enjoyed the dentist. However as soon as I met Dr Basir she put me at ease. Worked with me to get my perfect smile. And I can honestly say I have never received so many compliments on my teeth. From someone who hated smiling I now can't stop. Dr Basir is a genius in what she does. Her patients come first. Amazing with kids my two children LOVE visiting the practise. Trinity house is a calm lovely practice and I thoroughly look forward to my next visit. X
I have been a patient of Steve for more than thirty years, and have never thought of going anywhere else. My daughter and granddaughter are also patients. The treatment itself is first class with high professional and ethical standards. There is a realisation that dental health is an aspect of general health, intimately connected with overall well-being. The practice therefore deals with the whole person, offering advice on issues of life style in so far as they as they affect oral hygiene and dental health. I feel that I am known and valued as a human being, not just as a set of teeth. At 75, I enjoy excellent health, dental and otherwise, and I believe that the practice has played a large part in helping me to maintain it. I recommend Steve and his colleagues unreservedly.

I moved to Trinity House from another practice about two years ago. Prior to joining this practice I don’t think I had ever had a filling where I hadn’t experienced fairly high levels of discomfort: in addition I had a long term gum inflammation problem that my previous practice couldn’t seem to get on top of. Since joining the practice I have had one filling which was a completely pain free experience (a first for me - thank you Steve) and Kathryn has very quickly resolved what had become a chronic gum problem.I can’t speak highly enough of this practice. They are excellent!

My wife and I have been going to Steve MacDonald's dental practice for about 15 years and we highly recommend it. The staff are great and we always enjoy having a little chat with them. I am not a dentist so I can't comment on the technical side of their service but I always feel that the aim is to meet the needs of the patient in a professional way rather than try to sell unnecessary and expensive treatments. In that respect it is quite like how dentistry used to be before it was taken over by big commercial interests seeking to make more money. Very happy to recommend them.

I had treatment to reshape my teeth using composites, and I couldn't be happier with the result. After a lifetime of hating my teeth I now have a smile I can be proud of. Steve and the team did an amazing job. I would recommend this practice to anyone.
The best dentists I've ever been to! I don't usually like the dentists but somehow it isn't scary at Trinity House. Steve and Katherine are so friendly and chatty and it puts me at ease straight away. I have had a number of fillings and treatments but have never been in any pain and they understand how to keep me distracted. I would highly recommend.
After relocating to Wilmslow from Scotland I was left looking for a new dentist. I started with an online search to discovered the choice was plentiful however, I'm so glad I selected Trinity House Dental Care after reading a great review online.On entering the premises you're greeted with a smile which always helps you feel welcome. The practice itself is bright spacious and very well kept with onsite parking.During my initial meet the dentist appointment I found Steve and Emma very welcoming. I explained my dental concerns which I had had for over two years and my previous dentist couldn't resolve. Steve came up with a treatment plan and I started my dental visits. Following a few visits I now have two fantastic new crowns and I can now smile confidently and brush my teeth with ease. Thanks again Steve and Emma.
Trinity House Dental Care was recommended to me by a neighbour when I relocated to Manchester over 10 years ago, and I've been a fan ever since.Steve is a wonderful dentist and always makes you feel at ease, nothing is too much trouble. The whole team are welcoming, friendly, helpful, efficient and thoroughly professional. Details of treatment and costs are always explained up front (although price for me is not the main driver when selecting a Dentist, I have found Trinity offer good value for money and priced competitively/cheaper compared to other clinics)This clinic is outstanding. I am very pleased with the treatment I've received and the end results and cannot recommend Steve and his team highly enough.
